"The Persistance Of Memory"

This is an image of Salvator Dali's painting called " The Persistance of Memory" in this image there is a cliff with a view of a body of water. There are three clocks that look like they are melted. Towards the back of the painting where the cliff and water is it looks sunny but in the front where the clocks are it looks a little shaddy. There is what looks like a pocket watch with some kind of bugs i think i cant really tell.

Lauren,
Cool choice from one of the seminal artists of the 20th century. The bright, clean, sharp lines along with the colors Dali used always convey very layered meanings. Do you think that this picture is successful at conveying its meaning?
