what do you think??

What is my imagine on poverty?

Well i think poverty is low income, people who can not get jobs that make over 10,000 a year. We really don't realize how bad it really is. People who live in the hood cant get a good paying job because of where they live, not going to college, or have been in and out of jail, and even bad records of any kind.

People in America don't take the time to help people that are on welfare or low income people that have no other choice but to live in the ghetto. We don't take out the time to help and encourage people more to finish school, as well as going to college to get a degree. A degree will help them achieve to make it for there families so they can support them with illegal money.

i feel think poverty is not as bad, but we need to do more to help. People who live in poverty think they cant be as good, smart, rich, fortunate to have things we have and the gifts and talents we choose to improve in are lives. They actually can, but they just think they are not smart enough to go to college. Anyone can go to college but it takes someone who really wants to make it in the world to graduate from college.

What does it take to change--to improve, in particular--the way a person feels about him- or herself?

Besides their self-esteem and self-image, what do impoverished individuals need to improve their economic and social status?

What does poverty physically look like to you? Can you find an image--a photograph, a painting--that represents that?

If you could go back in time from reading Our America, how could you change things around if you could?
