What do i see. when i look at this image i see nothing but the perciverence. to over come anything. another thing i see when i look at this image is love and passion. in order to skate in my eyes i think you would have to have that passion to never let it go no matter how good or how bad you get. if you love something eventually you become very passionate about it. another thing i see are leaders. these are leaders for the youth and older cats. this tells you that anything is possible. Stevie Williams the team leader of DGK also know as DIRTY GHETTO KIDs' had to over come the america ( that some of us don't know ) and rise to the top. his reason was because he wanted that freedom. their skateboards are the keys to the door that gives them freedom everytime they step on it. they could do tricks all the time but sometimes just like me im pretty sure they just ride to get away. as much as they got out of the ghetto they realize and never forgot where they came from. that's why they are still Dirty Ghetto Kidz. these are the kids and adults that were forgoten like the other america. but over came that.

Bryan, You have some very sharp observations about passion and freedom which are often linked together. The skateboards do symbolize the desire for "flight" an escape into places previously not traveled. I think of Lloyd and LeAlan's bus travels...same kind of symbolism in my interpretation.
